About This Spot

Stepping into porcopreto restaurante, nestled quietly on Carrer del Clot in Sant Andreu, you immediately sense a careful balance between warmth and sophistication. The pace here isn’t rushed, inviting you to settle in and savor moments as much as meals. Soft lighting and thoughtful touches give the space an intimate feel, where attentive yet unobtrusive service naturally complements the experience.

The restaurant carries a subtle air of celebration, not in flashy gestures but in the quiet delight of sharing something heartfelt and genuine. It feels like discovering a well-kept secret within the neighborhood—a place where every detail, from the flow of conversation to the choice of wines, encourages a calm, joyful exploration of taste and place.

In the kitchen, familiar Portuguese flavors find new life, thoughtfully intertwined with hints of local influence. The dishes unfold gradually, inviting curiosity and conversation at the table. The Francesinha, for example, becomes more than just a dish—it’s a story told with layers of flavor, a comforting and unexpected highlight that lingers warmly in memory.

What makes this restaurant stand out is not only the food but the human moments that arise—passionate service that feels humble, a genuine exchange that elevates the meal beyond nourishment. It’s a place where the welcome is as rich as the flavors, leaving visitors eager to return and locals quietly glad to have it nearby.

I confirm what’s being said in other comments about the dish — it certainly lives up to the praise. More important to me, though, is the service. I was pleasantly impressed by Antonio: his passionate service, culinary eloquence, and humble attentiveness elevated the entire experience. A hidden gem…a highlight of my trip in Barcelona, and a reason to return.

A brand new portuguese restaurant in Barcelona. They bring the true portuguese flavors with a glance of spanish fusion in a high end cuisine presentation. We tried 'moelas', 'francesinha' and 'polvo à lagareiro', all perfectly cooked and with the traditional portuguese flavors. For dessert 'pudim abade de priscos', if you like sweet, the is a MUST TRY! The experience was really good and all the staff is really friendly.

We had a wonderful experience — amazing food, especially the Francesinha, a classic Portuguese dish, which was absolutely outstanding. The service was excellent, the atmosphere refined and inviting, and the Portuguese wine selection perfectly complemented the food. Great prices for the quality offered. Definitely a highlight of the area.

Honestly amazing food, lovely staff, will be coming back. 5 plates, 2 drinks - 50€ We ordered the plates from ”to share” and they were good sizes so we didn’t need that many but it was worth it!

This is a lovely place with good food and light ambiance. I am a solo traveler and I took a moment to appreciate the sound of business. Nevertheless two people are covering 2 rooms with multiple tables which I found to be fascinating.
